writing process blog tour!

I've been tagged by the talented Liz Wong. In fact she did the cover and interior illustrations for CAMP Secret by SpyGirls Press. Which you can purchase at the International Spy Museum if you are in Washington D.C.

I am one of the girls from SpyGirls.

What am I currently working on?

Several pictures books, the final edits to our second book in the Anatolia Steppe series, and a chapter book.
Here is a sneak peek at the beautiful cover art for Uncovered in Istanbul, by the also talented Jeff James

How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I am all about words and pictures. Word plays, sight gags and something to make you giggle.

Why do I write what I write?

I am a mystery reader and a mystery writer. I love red herrings, I always carry a flashlight in my purse, and I would be the first to head down the dark staircase.

How does my process work?

Lot’s of cheap printer paper. Reams of it. Scribbles and doodles turn into ideas and ideas turn into new ways of creating art. I am always trying something new.

Whew! That is the most I have ever written on my blog. Next week back to a few words and a picture.
I am tagging Jeff James. Take it away Jeff!
